The “Education for democracy” training activity presented in “Henri Coanda” Highschool Craiova, Romania

A presentation on the “Education for democracy” module was held at “Henri Coanda” Highschool on the 2nd of October 2017 by English teacher Sonia Dobre, volunteer at Edulife Association, participant in the training activity that took place in Barcelona meeting from 18 tot 22 September 2017. This presentation was attended by more than 50 people who responded very positively to the activity. First, the idea, the objectives and the outcomes of the project were presented. Then Sonia talked about the training week in Barcelona, about the training activities, the interactive workshops, the visits to local institutions. Finally, she elaborated the whole formative effect the training had on the participants.

Next, Sonia introduced an interactive workshop in which all the participants were involved. This workshop was inspired by the “Education for personal development” theme “It’s better to be a rainbow”. Its purpose was to give the participants a clear and helpful insight on the whole New Educations concept such as it is promoted in the Erasmus+ project “THE NEW EDUCATIONS IN PROMOTING TRANSVERSAL SKILLS”. The whole day was a success: all participants were very interested in the themes and modules and the intellectual outputs of the project.
