Edulife Association is a young non-profit organization of Craiova, SV Oltenia region, aiming the development of the community through educational, cultural and social activities, improving the organization and functioning of civil society by identifying and promoting values, as well as promotion, education, training, retraining and supporting labor market insertion of young people and adults,
The association was founded by five teachers from Craiova with a strong educational background, with very good individual experience in European projects, particularly in the LLP (Comenius, Grundtvig, Leonardo da Vinci, study visits) or SEF (HRD) - as project managers, assistant manager, coordinating activities.
We are organized in 7 departments: Projects and partnerships, Adults education, Youth and children education, Voluntary activity, Media and communication, IT Department, Financial Department. We count 25 members and volunteers.
We have assumed a role being considerable active in our community, developing actions in partnerships with public institutions (Schools, County Library, Museums, Police Sections), other NGOs, Orthodox Metropolitan See of Oltenia, Dolj County School Inspectorate and others.
Our town is one of the oldest towns, known from the Roman period as Pelendava, written about in historical documents. Our region is full of customs and traditions, rich in history and culture, with natural beauties and people of great hospitality.
